Dear friends,
I hope this finds you well. As we approach the final stretch of the year, I’m delighted to share a few key updates.
Ondine Signing
I’m honored to announce that I’ve signed an exclusive multi-album recording contract with Ondine. I have long admired the label’s creative vision, artistic excellence and legendary roster, and it’s a privilege to join a label that so closely reflects my own musical values. I look forward to sharing the first recordings from this partnership with listeners around the world soon.
Wigmore Video
The full video of my Wigmore Hall recital from June is now available to stream on YouTube. I’m truly grateful for the generous reception the recital has continued to receive, including a recent review in International Piano:
“A formidable recitalist… Bewitching, delicately sculpted… With this essentially intellectual performer you feel that he’s thought through every bar. The result was a dizzyingly fast fugue [of the Hammerklavier] and a brilliantly reconfigured opening stretch… He played his own piano arrangement of two movements from Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé. Elegantly arranged and brilliantly executed, they showed yet another facet of this remarkable man.”
In the News
Among a stream of recent coverage is a profile in the Financial Times on my activities and the Verbier Festival premiere of the Neurorecital — make sure to check out the piece in print or online. You can also catch me in conversation with Tom Service on BBC Radio 3.
Upcoming
This fall brings an exciting performance schedule across three continents, including residencies at Honens and the University of Puget Sound and appearances at venues such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, New York’s Kaufman Center and the Kronberg Festival, as well as a special recital at Doha’s Al Mayassa Theatre as part of the international WISE 12 Summit. Please keep an eye on my website and social media for updates, and I hope to see you during my travels.
Kind regards,
Nicolas
