Here’s a quick note to share that I’m the cover artist for one of the world’s leading classical music publications, International Piano magazine, in their first issue of the year. You’ll find a beautifully-written four-page article by Michael Church, which touches upon my musical background, my current activities as a pianist and composer, my study of neuroscience and performance psychology, and the analytical work for my dissertation and subsequent book. The article also includes a glowing first review of my new disc on the Steinway & Sons label, which is now available on all major platforms (see below for links). In addition, the magazine issue features my solo piano work “Moon, Refracted,” reprinted in the magazine in full.

Listen: New album of Schumann and Namoradze

You can now listen to my solo album on the Steinway & Sons label. The disc, entitled “Arabesques,” is a program of music by Robert Schumann and myself, presenting some of my reflections on Schumann’s work from both pianistic and compositional viewpoints. It includes Schumann’s Gesänge der Frühe (“Songs of Dawn”) Op. 133, Humoreske Op. 20 and Arabeske Op. 18, my Arabesque (influenced by Schumann’s work of the same name) and three of my piano etudes.
